WRITING MY FAMILY'S HISTORY
I had always wanted to write my family's history.
And not just to skim the surface of names, dates, and ages, but to learn what made them love and laugh and cry. So I sat with my grandparents and flipped through photo albums and newspaper clippings and scrapbooks. I read the old journals my Great Great Grandmother wrote and even watched old 16mm footage my Great Grandmother took.
I filled a notebook with 5 generations of stories that mark the moments and memories of other peoples' lives.
It is the thing I am most proud of.
